Overview
The Course Catalog provides a consolidated view of all courses available in openSIS. It allows administrators to search and filter courses by marking period, subject, program, course, and grade level, making it easier to review course offerings and their associated sections.
Each course can be expanded to view additional information, including its description, prerequisites, learning objectives, and the sections available for enrollment.
Access the Course Catalog

Log in to openSIS.

Go to Courses > Course Catalog.
The Course Catalog page opens, displaying all available courses.
Search and Filter Courses
Use the available filters to quickly locate courses.
The following filters are available:

Marking Period – View courses offered during a specific marking period.

Subject – Filter courses by subject.

Program – Display courses for a selected academic program.
-
Course – Search for a specific course.
-
Grade Level – View courses available for a selected grade level.

Search – Locate a course by entering its name or keyword.
The Course Catalog displays the following information for each course:

Click the Expand icon beside a course to view additional details.

Export or Print the Course Catalog
The Course Catalog provides options to:

Export the displayed course list to an Excel file.

Print the course catalog for offline reference.

The Course Catalog is a reference view of the courses configured in the Course Manager.

Applying filters helps narrow the course list based on academic requirements.

Expanding a course displays its associated sections and scheduling details without leaving the page.

Course availability depends on the selected marking period and configured course sections.
