Delete a Lesson Plan

Overview

The Delete Lesson Plan feature allows authorized users to remove a lesson plan that is no longer required.

A lesson plan can only be deleted if it has not been added to a class calendar. Once the lesson plan is used in a class calendar, it becomes part of the instructional record and cannot be deleted.

Delete a Lesson Plan

  1. Go to Lesson Plan Library.
  2. Locate the lesson plan you want to delete.
  3. Click the Actions icon.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Review the confirmation message.
  6. Confirm the deletion.

The lesson plan is permanently removed from the Lesson Plan Library.

When a Lesson Plan Cannot Be Deleted

A lesson plan cannot be deleted after it has been added to a class calendar.

This restriction helps preserve the accuracy and history of classroom instruction. The lesson plan remains available for reference, but it can no longer be deleted or edited.

To create a revised version, use Copy Lesson Plan and update the copied record.
