Overview
The Edit Lesson Plan feature allows authorized users to modify the details of an existing lesson plan before it is used in classroom instruction. You can update instructional content, learning objectives, procedures, materials, and other lesson information as needed.
Note: A lesson plan can only be edited if it has not been added to a class calendar. Once it has been assigned to a class calendar, editing is disabled to preserve instructional records.

When a Lesson Plan Cannot Be Edited
A lesson plan becomes read-only after it has been added to a class calendar.
This restriction helps maintain the integrity of instructional records by ensuring that lesson plans already associated with classroom instruction remain unchanged.
If updates are required after a lesson plan has been used, create a copy of the lesson plan, make the necessary changes to the copied version, and use it for future classes.
Important Notes
- Only authorized users can edit lesson plans.
- Changes are available immediately after the lesson plan is saved.
- Lesson plans assigned to a class calendar cannot be edited.
- To modify an assigned lesson plan, create a copy and edit the copied version.
