The Edit Report Card Grades page allows administrators to review and modify report card grades for individual students. While grades are typically calculated automatically from assignments entered by teachers, there are situations where an administrator may need to update a student's final report card record.
This feature is commonly used to correct grading errors, update final grades after an appeal or review, modify earned credits, or enter grades that were approved outside the normal grading workflow. Any changes made here are reflected in the student's report card and other academic records that use the updated grade information.
Before editing report card grades, ensure that:
The student's academic summary is displayed, including:
Select the required Marking Period from the drop-down list to view the student's report card grades for that term.

Use this option carefully, as deleting report card grades may affect GPA calculations, transcripts, graduation progress, and report cards.
If a report card grade has been modified incorrectly, the History icon allows administrators to review and restore a previous version of the grade.
This helps maintain an audit trail and recover historical grade information when necessary.
The student profile displays two GPA values:
These values are recalculated automatically based on the student's report card grades and grading configuration.
