Generate the Referral by Month and Day Behavior Report

Overview

The Referral by Month and Day report provides a visual summary of student behavior referrals recorded during the selected marking period or a custom date range. The report displays referral trends using interactive charts and a tabular summary, making it easier to identify periods with increased behavioral incidents.

Go to Reports > Behavior > Referral by Month and Day.

The report page displays:

  • Marking Period selector
  • Summary cards showing referral comparisons
  • Daily or monthly referral chart
  • Referral data table

Generate the Report

  1. Select a Marking Period from the drop-down list.
  2. (Optional) Select Custom Date Range from the Marking Period list.
  3. If Custom Date Range is selected:
    • Choose a From Date.
    • Choose a To Date.
    • Click Search.
  4. Review the referral summary cards displayed at the top of the page.

The summary cards display:

  • Current Month
  • Previous Month
  • 3 Months Ago
  • 6 Months Ago

The report allows you to customize the chart display.

Select Chart Type

Choose one of the following:

  • Bar – Displays referral counts as a bar chart.
  • Line – Displays referral trends using a line chart.

Select Report Interval

Choose how referral data is grouped:

  • Daily – Displays referrals for each day.
  • Monthly – Displays referrals grouped by month.

The chart updates automatically based on your selected options.

Review the Referral Data

Below the chart, the Student Daily Table Data Referral Report lists the referral information.

The table includes:

  • Date
  • Number of Referrals

This allows you to compare the graphical representation with the underlying referral data.
