Overview

The Referral by Time of the Day Behavior Report helps administrators identify when student behavior referrals are most frequently recorded during the school day. The report presents referral trends by time using graphical charts and a supporting data table, making it easier to recognize patterns and plan appropriate interventions.

Navigate to the Referral by Time of the Day Behavior Report

Go to Reports > Behavior > Referral by Time of the Day.

The report page displays:

• Marking Period selector
• Referral trend chart
• Referral data table

Generate the Report

1. Select a Marking Period from the drop-down list.
2. The report refreshes automatically and displays referral data for the selected marking period.

Analyze the Report

The report allows you to change the chart visualization.

Select Chart Type

Choose one of the following chart options:

• Bar – Displays referral counts for each time of the day as a bar chart.
• Line – Displays referral trends by time using a line chart.

The chart updates immediately based on your selection.

Review the Referral Data

Below the chart, the Student Referral Table Data Report by Time of the Day displays the referral details.

The table includes:

• Time of the Day
• Number of Referrals

Use the table to review the exact referral count recorded for each time period shown in the chart.
