Group Delete Students and Teachers
Overview
The Group Delete feature allows administrators to permanently remove scheduled student or teacher assignments from one or more course sections. Unlike Group Drop, this action does not record a drop date or preserve the scheduling transaction.
This feature is commonly used to correct scheduling errors, remove incorrect assignments, or reset scheduling before assigning students or teachers again.

The correct academic year and marking period are selected.

-
No drop date is recorded.
-
Deleted scheduling records cannot be restored.

If the assignment is required again, it must be recreated using the appropriate scheduling feature.
Best Practices
-
Use Group Delete only when correcting scheduling mistakes.
-
If a student or teacher is leaving a course after scheduling has taken effect, use Group Drop instead so the scheduling history is preserved.
-
Review the selected records carefully before confirming the deletion.
