How to Track Graduation Progress in the Parent Portal

Overview

The Graduation Progress module in the Parent Portal provides a detailed view of the student’s progress toward graduation. Parents can track the required credits, completed credits, enrolled credits, and outstanding credits for their child.

This section is view-only and helps parents stay updated on their child's academic journey and ensure they are on track to meet graduation requirements.


Accessing Graduation Progress

  1. Log in to the Parent Portal
  2. From the left menu, click Graduation Progress
  3. Parents can view the following:
    • Required and completed credit hours
    • Enrolled credit hours and outstanding credits
    • Percentage of progress made towards graduation

Graduation Progress Overview

The Graduation Progress displays the following information:

  • Course Category: These categories are created by school admins (e.g., Core, Elective).
  • Course Name: Lists the courses the student is taking.
  • Required Credit Hours: Shows the total credits required for each course category.
  • Completed Credit Hours: Displays the number of credits the student has completed.
  • Enrolled Credit Hours: Shows the credits the student is actively working on.
  • Outstanding Credit Hours: Indicates the remaining credits needed for graduation.
  • Percentage Completed: Displays the percentage of completion for each course category.

NotesNote: Parents cannot edit course categories or enrollment status. They can only monitor their child’s progress.
