How to View the Course Schedule in the Parent Portal
Overview
The Course Schedule module in the Parent Portal provides parents with a clear view of their child’s enrolled courses, class schedules, and important course dates.
This section is view-only, and parents cannot make any changes to the course schedule but can track their child’s academic progress.
Accessing the Course Schedule
- Log in to the Parent Portal
- From the left menu, click Course Schedule
You will be able to see:
- The list of courses their child is enrolled in
- Course sections, dates, and teachers
- Enrollment start and end dates
Course Schedule Overview
The Course Schedule displays the following information:
- Course Name: The course that the student is enrolled in
- Course Section: The specific section or variant of the course
- Teachers: Teachers assigned to the course
- Marking Period: The specific grading period for the course (e.g., Quarter 1, Semester 1)
- Enrolled Date: The date the student was enrolled in the course
- End/Drop Date: The final date for course participation or drop
- Canvas Scheduling Status: Shows the current status in the Canvas system (if applicable)
Note: Parents cannot edit or drop courses from this schedule.
