How to View Your Absence Summary in the Student Portal

Overview

The Absence Summary section in the Student Portal allows students to view their attendance records, including daily attendance status and overall absence trends for a selected period.

This section provides a read-only view of attendance data recorded by the school.

Accessing Absence Summary

  1. Log in to the Student Portal
  2. From the left menu, click Attendance
  3. Select Absence Summary

Viewing Absence Summary

You can filter your attendance using:

1. Show Report By

  • Full Year
  • Quarter
  • Other available school-defined periods

2. Period

  • Select Daily to view detailed attendance per day
  • Displays your attendance data based on selected filters

What You Can See

The Absence Summary includes:

  • Date
  • Daily Attendance Status:
    • 🟢 Present
    • 🔴 Absent
    • 🟠 Half Day
  • Period-wise Attendance (P1, P2, etc.)
  • Admin Comments (if provided)

Understanding the Data

  • Daily Attendance shows your overall status for each day
  • Period Columns (P1, P2, etc.) show attendance per class period
  • Helps you track:
    • Missed days
    • Partial attendance
    • Attendance consistency
