How to View Your Child’s Daily Attendance in the Parent Portal

Overview

The Daily Attendance section allows parents to monitor their child’s attendance in a calendar-based format.

Parents can view attendance in:

  • Week View → Detailed class-wise attendance
  • Month View → Overall attendance summary

This section provides visibility only and reflects attendance recorded by the school.


Accessing Daily Attendance

  1. Log in to the Parent Portal
  2. From the left menu, click Attendance
  3. Select Daily Attendance

Viewing Attendance

🔹 Week View (Detailed View)

The Week View shows your child’s attendance for each day and class period.

What You Can See
  • Daily attendance (Sunday–Saturday)
  • Class periods/blocks
  • Attendance status:
    • 🟢 Present
    • 🔴 Absent
    • 🔴 Attendance Not Taken
Why It Matters
  • Track attendance per class
  • Identify missed periods
  • Monitor incomplete attendance entries

🔹 Month View (Summary View

The Month View provides a broader overview of your child’s attendance.

What You Can See
  • Monthly calendar
  • Markers highlighting attendance (e.g., absences)
Why It Matters
  • Identify recurring absence patterns
  • Monitor attendance consistency

  • Use left/right arrows to navigate between weeks or months
  • Switch between:
    • Week View
    • Month View

Understanding Attendance Status

  • Present → Your child attended the class
  • Absent → Your child was not present
  • Attendance Not Taken → Attendance has not been recorded

Key Notes

  • This is a view-only feature
  • Attendance data is recorded by the school
  • Parents cannot modify attendance records
