How to View Your Progress Reports in the Student Portal

Overview

The Progress Reports section in the Student Portal allows students to track their individual academic progress. Students can monitor their grades for each course, review their assignments, and check their overall course completion percentage. This section is view-only, and students cannot alter their grades or assignments.


Accessing Progress Reports

  1. Log in to the Student Portal
  2. From the left menu, click Grades
  3. Navigate to Progress Reports to see:
    • Assignments and Scores
    • Course Performance
    • Teacher Feedback and Progress

Viewing Progress Reports: Two Views

In the Progress Reports section, students have two viewing options:

  1. With Assignment Details:
    • This view provides detailed information on each individual assignment.
    • Students can see the assignment name, due date, and grade received for each assignment.
    • It also shows the points scored, percentages, and grade ranges for each assignment.
  2. Totals Only:
    • This view shows a summary of grades without breaking down individual assignments.
    • Students can see overall course grades for each subject, along with the total progress percentage for each period.

Progress Reports Overview

In the Progress Reports section, students can view:

  • Course Name: The name of the enrolled course.
  • Course Section: The section of the course they are enrolled in.
  • Teacher: The instructor of the course.
  • Assignment Name: View each assignment and its corresponding due date.
  • Points Scored: Track points achieved in assignments and their percentage.
  • Grade: The grade received for the assignment.
  • Weighted Grade: The contribution of each assignment to the overall grade.
  • Progress: The overall percentage and completion of assignments.

Key Notes

  • View-only access for students
  • Track grades, assignment performance, and overall course progress
  • Students cannot edit grades or assignments
