The Course Schedule section displays the course sections assigned to an individual student. Authorized users can review the student’s scheduled courses, teachers, marking periods, enrollment dates, dropped courses, and schedules from other schools. They can also assign a new course section, update an existing schedule record, review schedule details, or remove a course assignment.
Navigation: Students > Student Information > Student’s Name > Course Schedule
The Scheduled Courses page displays the course sections assigned to the student for the selected academic context.
Each row represents a course-section assignment. The following information may be displayed:
The displayed courses depend on the selected school year and the student’s current and historical schedule records.
The Teachers column may display:
Use the course-section information when additional teacher or schedule details are required.
The Marking Period identifies when the course section applies, such as a semester, quarter, full year, or another configured period.
The Enrolled Date indicates when the student entered the course section.
The End/Drop Date may represent:
Review these dates carefully when determining whether a course is current, completed, future, or dropped.
The icons near the top of the Scheduled Courses section allow the available schedule information to be presented in different views.
Use the applicable list or time-based view to review the student’s assignments in the format most useful for the task.
The information available in each view depends on the student’s schedule and the school’s scheduling configuration.
Dropped courses may be hidden from the standard schedule.
To include them:
This option is useful when reviewing the student’s schedule history or confirming that a course was removed correctly.
Turn on Other School’s Schedules when the student may have course assignments at another school.
The user can only view schedules from schools included in their assigned access.
This option is helpful when the student is enrolled in courses across multiple schools within the organization.
Before assigning the section, verify:
Use the pencil icon when an existing assignment needs to be updated.
Edits may affect scheduling, attendance, grading, and connected LMS records. Make changes only when they reflect the student’s verified course placement.
Use the information icon to review additional details about the course-section assignment.
The information displayed may help administrators verify the origin, dates, or other relevant details of the schedule record.
Close the information view after reviewing it and return to the schedule list.
The trash icon is used to remove or end the selected course assignment through the available workflow.
Do not remove a course merely to correct an unrelated grade or attendance issue. Course removal can affect the student’s schedule, attendance records, gradebook access, transcripts, and LMS synchronization.
When Moodle integration is enabled, the Moodle Scheduling Status column displays the applicable status for each scheduled course.
A hyphen may appear when:
If the expected status does not appear, verify the student’s Moodle synchronization status, the course-section integration, and the institution’s LMS configuration.
The three-dot menu near Assign Course Section provides additional schedule actions when available.
The options displayed depend on the schedule configuration, selected context, and the user’s permissions. Review each option before applying it to the student’s schedule.
After assigning, editing, or removing a course:
Important: Course schedule changes can affect attendance, grading, reporting, and LMS access. Verify all details before saving or removing an assignment.
