The Enrollment Info section stores the student’s school placement, enrollment history, grade level, program, and year-end rollover instructions. Administrators can review the student’s current enrollment, add or update enrollment records, record an exit, assign accommodations, and determine what should happen to the student during the next school-year rollover.
The Rolling/Retention Option is especially important because it determines whether and how the student will continue into the next academic year.

Important: Review the Rolling/Retention Option before completing the year-end rollover. An incorrect selection may place the student in the wrong grade or school, retain the student unnecessarily, or exclude the student from next year’s enrollment.
The Section/Cohort field associates the student with a configured section or cohort.
Select the applicable value when the institution groups students by homeroom, intake, graduating class, academic group, or another configured structure.
Use Estimated Graduation Date to record when the student is expected to complete the applicable academic program.

Historical records should be updated carefully because they may affect transcripts, reports, attendance context, and other student history.

Important: Enrollment changes affect multiple academic and administrative processes. Verify the student, school, year, grade, dates, codes, and rollover decision before saving.
