Understanding the Administrator Dashboard

Overview

The Administrator Dashboard provides a centralized overview of your institution’s daily operations. From the dashboard, administrators can monitor attendance, student performance, communication alerts, billing insights, referrals, applications, and other important school activities.

The dashboard is designed using configurable dashlets, allowing institutions to enable or disable widgets based on operational needs.

What You Can View on the Dashboard

Depending on enabled dashlets and permissions, administrators may see:

  • Student, Staff, and Parent counts
  • Attendance alerts
  • Missing attendance notifications
  • Messages
  • Applications and course requests
  • Student GPA and attendance insights
  • Billing summaries
  • Behavior referrals
  • Events and meetings
  • Calendar overview
  • Quick action shortcuts

Dashboard Alerts

The Alerts section helps administrators monitor important pending activities such as:

  • Missing attendance
  • New applications
  • Course requests
  • Unread messages

Notes
These alerts help schools respond quickly to operational issues.

Quick Add Shortcuts

The Quick Add section provides fast access to commonly used administrative actions such as:

  • Send Message
  • Add Referral
  • Add Fees
  • Add Activity
  • Add Absence
  • Add Subscription

Notes
This allows administrators to perform frequent actions directly from the dashboard.

Dashboard Analytics and Widgets

Dashboard charts and tables provide quick institutional insights, including:

  • Students by Gender
  • Students by Ethnicity
  • Attendance Trends
  • Lowest GPA Students
  • Billing Collection Insights
  • Behavior Referrals

Notes
These widgets help administrators identify trends and monitor school performance.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Under the School section, click Dashboard Dashlets.
  3. A list of available dashlets will appear.
  4. Turn the dashlet ON or OFF based on your requirement.
  5. Changes are reflected on the dashboard automatically.
