Overview
The My Classes section in openSIS provides teachers with a centralized view of all their assigned classes. From here, teachers can quickly access class details, manage students, take attendance, handle assignments, and manage grades.
This is the main working hub for teachers.
How to Access
Go to:
Courses → My Classes
My Classes Dashboard
The My Classes screen displays all assigned classes as cards.
Each class card includes:
- Subject Name (e.g., Science, English, Maths)
- Grade Level
- Period (e.g., Period 1, Period 2)
- Room Number
- Class Time
- Meeting Days (MTWRF)
Understanding Class Cards
Each card gives a quick snapshot of your schedule:
- 🕒 Time → When the class is scheduled
- 🏫 Room → Where the class is held
- 📅 Days → Which days the class meets
- 📘 Course Info → Grade and subject

This helps teachers quickly navigate their daily schedule.
Opening a Class
To access a class:

Click on any class card
This opens the Class Workspace, where you will find:
- Overview
- Students
- Attendance
- Gradebook Configuration
- Assignments
- Grades
- Class Calendar
