View Marking Periods in openSIS (Teacher Portal)

Overview

The Marking Periods section allows teachers to view the academic periods defined by the school, such as terms, semesters, quarters, or any custom structure set by administrators.

This section helps teachers understand the timeline for teaching, grading, and assessments.

Permissions

Teachers can:

  • View marking periods and their details

Teachers cannot:

  • Add new marking periods
  • Edit existing periods
  • Delete any records

Notes
All marking period configurations are defined and managed by administrators.

How to Access

Go to:

School → Marking Periods

Understanding Marking Periods

  • Marking periods do not follow a fixed structure
  • The structure (e.g., Full Year, Semester, Quarter, etc.) is configured by the school
