View My Schedule in openSIS
Overview
The My Schedule module allows teachers to view their assigned classes, timings, and teaching schedule in multiple formats.
It helps you:
- See your teaching timetable
- Understand class timings and rooms
- Navigate daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
- Export schedule data
How to Access
Go to:
My Schedule (left menu)
Schedule List View (Default View)
The default screen shows a list of all assigned classes.
Columns Explained
- Course Section → Class name
- Canvas Scheduling Status → Integration status (if applicable)
- Marking Period → Quarter/Semester/Full Year
- Period → Class period number
- Time → Class duration
- Room → Assigned classroom
- Meeting Days → Days of the week (M, T, W, R, F)

Some classes may show “Variable Schedule” if timing is not fixed.
Switch Schedule Views
You can switch between different views using the icons at the top right.
Weekly View
- Displays schedule for a selected week
- Organized by days (Sunday–Saturday)
- Shows classes based on selected filter
Filter by Period or Time
Use dropdown:
- Periods → View by class periods
- Time → View by time slots

Helps adjust how schedule is visualized
Navigate Between Weeks
- Use left/right arrows to move across weeks
Routine View (Time Grid)
- Displays schedule in a time-based grid
- Shows time slots vertically and days horizontally
Useful for:
- Visualizing teaching load
- Identifying free periods
Monthly View
- Displays schedule across the entire month
- Classes appear as colored blocks
Each block shows:

Navigate Between Months
- Use arrows to move between months
Export Schedule
- Click three-dot menu (⋮)
- Select Export to Excel

Downloads your schedule for offline use
Additional Options
- View switching icons (List / Weekly / Routine / Monthly)
- Navigation controls (week/month switching)
- Display filters (Period/Time)

Important Notes
- Schedule is pre-configured by admin
- Teachers cannot modify schedule here
- Some classes may not have fixed timings
- Display depends on assigned courses
Limitations
- Cannot edit schedule
- Cannot assign classes
- Cannot modify timing or room

- Use Monthly View for planning ahead
- Use Routine View to identify free time
- Export schedule for offline reference
- Check weekly view regularly for updates
