View Sent Messages

Overview

The Sent folder stores all messages you have sent through the Communication module. It provides a complete history of outgoing communications, allowing administrators to review message content, verify recipients, and reference previous conversations whenever needed.

Accessing the Sent Folder

  1. Navigate to Communication.
  2. Select Sent from the navigation panel.

The Sent folder displays all messages you have sent.

Understanding the Sent Layout

The Sent page is divided into two sections:

  • Message List – Displays all sent conversations.
  • Conversation Panel – Displays the complete contents of the selected message.

This layout allows you to browse your sent messages while reviewing their details on the same screen.

Viewing Sent Messages

Each message in the Sent folder displays summary information, including:

  • Recipient name or communication group
  • Subject or message preview
  • Date and time the message was sent

Click a message to open the full conversation.

Reviewing Message Details

The conversation panel displays detailed information about the selected message, including:

  • Sender information
  • Recipient(s)
  • Date and time sent
  • Message content
  • Conversation history

This allows administrators to review previous communications without composing a new message.

Viewing Multiple Recipients

When a message is sent to multiple users or a communication group, the conversation displays the recipient information.

This helps verify who received the communication and provides an easy reference for future follow-up.

Viewing Translation Information

If a message was translated before delivery, the conversation displays the languages in which the message was delivered.

This helps administrators confirm that multilingual recipients received the communication in their preferred language.

Reviewing Previous Conversations

The Sent folder maintains conversation history, allowing administrators to revisit earlier messages for reference.

This is especially useful when following up on announcements, parent communications, or staff discussions.

Best Practices

  • Review sent messages before sending follow-up communications.
  • Verify recipient information when communicating with groups or multiple users.
  • Use the Sent folder as a reference for previous school communications.
  • Confirm translation indicators when communicating with multilingual recipients.
  • Periodically review important communications to maintain accurate records of school correspondence.
