How to Access Behavior Fields Settings in openSIS

The Behavior Fields Settings section in openSIS allows administrators to view and manage all behavior-related fields used when recording student behavior incidents. This article explains where this setting is located and who can access it.
Who Can Access Behavior Fields?
Navigation Path
Follow the steps below to access Behavior Fields:
Log in to openSIS as an Administrator
From the left-hand menu, click Settings
Navigate to Behavior
Click Behavior Fields

Menu Path:
Settings → Behavior → Behavior Fields

What You Will See on the Behavior Fields Screen
Once you open Behavior Fields, the screen is divided into two main sections:
1️⃣ Fields List (Left Panel)
Displays all default and custom behavior fields
Indicates field type (Default / Custom)
Allows quick selection of a field
2️⃣ Field Details Panel (Right Panel)

Why This Section Is Important
Accessing Behavior Fields allows administrators to:
Review how behavior incidents are structured
Ensure required information is being captured
Prepare for adding or updating custom fields
Any configuration done here directly affects the Behavior & Discipline module.
Important Notes
Default behavior fields are system-defined and cannot be removed
Custom fields can be managed from this screen
Changes apply immediately to new behavior records
