How to Manage Dashboard Dashlets in openSIS

How to Manage Dashboard Dashlets in openSIS

Overview

openSIS allows School Administrators to control which dashboard dashlets are visible on the Administrator dashboard.
Dashlets provide quick insights such as student counts, alerts, attendance summaries, and analytics.

Using the Dashboard Dashlets setting, administrators can enable or disable specific dashlets, allowing a cleaner and more focused dashboard experience.

Who Can Configure Dashboard Dashlets?

  • School Administrators only

Alert
Teachers, students, and parents do not have access to this setting and cannot hide or modify dashlets on their dashboards.

    • Attendance summaries

    • Messages

  • Review dashlet usage at the start of each academic year

Important Notes

  • Dashlet settings are school-specific

  • Changes do not affect historical data

  • This setting controls visibility only, not permissions or access rights
