Overview
The Gradebook Grades feature allows authorized administrators to enter, review, and update assignment grades on behalf of a teacher. This feature provides access to a teacher's gradebook, enabling administrators to manage assignment scores, monitor running averages, and ensure grades are accurately recorded for students.
Administrators can select a teacher, choose a course section, enter or modify assignment grades, and submit the changes directly to the gradebook.
Prerequisites
Before managing gradebook grades, ensure that:

The teacher has assigned graded activities to the selected course section.

Students are enrolled in the course section.

The grading period is active.

You have permission to access Teacher Functions.
Navigate to Gradebook Grades
Go to:
Staff > Teacher Functions > Gradebook Grades
The page displays a list of teachers.
Search for a Teacher
You can locate a teacher by:

Using the Search box.

Selecting Advanced Search to apply additional filters.
Click the teacher's name to open the Gradebook Grade List.
Manage Gradebook Grades
On the Gradebook Grade List page:

Select the Course Section from the dropdown.

(Optional) Enable Include Inactive Students to display inactive student records.

(Optional) Enable Show Ungraded Only to display only assignments that have not yet been graded.

Review the list of assignments and the students' current grades.

Enter or update assignment scores where required.

Use an Asterisk (*) as the points value to exempt a student from an assignment, if applicable.

Click Submit to save the changes.
Notes

The Running Average & Letter Grade column updates based on the recorded assignment grades.

Only assignments available for the selected course section are displayed.

Exempted assignments are excluded from grade calculations.

Gradebook changes are reflected wherever student grades are used, including report cards and academic reports.

Only authorized users can modify gradebook grades.
